Republican Candidates' Taxes are M.I.A.

The time has come for all presidential and vice presidential candidates to release their tax returns along with their spouses, unfortunately, not everyone is playing by the same rules.

Senator Obama and his wife Michelle released their tax reports and after awhile Senator McCain, released his taxes with his wife only releasing one year of her returns -- as Americans wait patiently for the additional pages.

The tax returns of Governor Palin and her husband Todd, were requested when she was announced as McCain's running mate -- but to no avail.

When running for high powered positions such as these, the rule has always been to release at least 10 years worth of tax returns. Obama's running mate Joe Biden and his wife Jill, released their tax returns totaling 10 years of income.

Isn't it strange that Sarah Palin and Cindy McCain, won't release their tax forms?

And how is Palin even able to continue running without in keeping with the rules of the game? Could it be that she's afraid it will come out, that she used state funds to benefit her family?

When candidates don't comply with campaign rules, shouldn't there be a consequence or disqualification?

The same way democrats were pressured to release their taxes, is the same pressure that should apply to the republicans. Either they release their taxes or an investigation should be launched into why they haven't done so yet.
