McCain/Palin Volunteer Ashley Todd Admits to Lying on Obama Supporter

The latest McCain/Palin falsehood just maybe the one to end their entire campaign?

Yesterday a McCain volunteer told the truth behind an assault that never happened. Ashley Todd (seen above) is a 20 year old from College Station,Texas, who confessed to lying about an unidentified black man, who was a Barack Obama supporter, that beat her up while taking time to carve the letter "B" on her face. In Todd's words "It was a politically inspired attack."

Originally, Todd reported that she was using an ATM machine when a black man attacked her, and when he saw the McCain/Palin sign on her car he kicked her down and carved the letter "B" on her right cheek. She then said the unidentified black man told her that she "will vote for Barack Obama."

The McCain volunteer reportedly waited a full 45 minutes before she called the police to tell her story. Police said her story kept changing and changing, until she gave up and admitted that she lied.

After the "false" attack was made public Senator McCain and Governor Palin, personally called their Texas volunteer as Senator Obama has done so many times to his supporters, who were actually attacked by McCain/Palin supporters. Rumors quickly swarmed that the McCain/Palin campaign rigged the entire incident, but no hardcore evidence has been shown.

Pittsburgh police stated that Ashley Todd, will be charged with filing a false report; a misdemeanor.

Is the McCain/Palin campaign not embarrassed by their supporters?

This young lady could have gotten so many "unidentified black men" hurt or arrested due to her vague description. Black men are already a target in this country and they don't need people helping to put them in prison. And why would she think to say a black man verses any other race? Is it because Barack Obama is a black man, therefore, associating "black" with "bad?"
