Can You Understand the Bush Administrations Political Rhetoric?
Watching President Bush recite his speech on the progress of the billion dollar bailout, for some reason, I can't seem to believe anything he says.
At the White House President Bush, walks up to the podium at a steady pace and begins his ritual of reading from his hand cards. Have you ever seen Bush give a speech without reading it? I don't think I have, but I often wished he could simplify his word usage when addressing the public -- especially for those who don't understand political rhetoric.

I find the word choices to be very incognito which makes me think that it's secret code talk for something else. This is definitely an issue that should be worked on because the American people, should be able to comprehend what their government officials are saying. And those that can't comprehend will simply lose focus and tune out as a result of becoming bored; no need in watching if you don't get it, right?
However, when Senator Obama speaks -- amazingly he makes sense. He's not like a robot spewing out technical commands, but a real person that can relate to Americans everyday issues.
Is it ever scary to you that Americans are so dependent on one entity (that being the government), as a means of getting the country on the right track?
I say this because normally, folks aren't living their daily lives according to what futuristic failures that could occur as a result of governing, and we definitely don't think about how it directly and indirectly influences our livelihood. Wind, solar, green jobs, universal health care and oil, aren't usually at the forefront of our minds, and it surely isn't on the radar that our governmental leaders are corrupt; we simply assume that they'll have our backs because we're Americans.

But now we must worry that our government isn't doing its job by balancing the budget and paying the country's bills on time?
We deserve a president that'll be honest with us, that will include us in policy discussions and work hard to protect us; a person that doesn't mind mingling with us while listening to our point of views, and actually having an answer to our questions.
When President Bush makes a speech he barely sticks around to answer questions; when he's done he's done and will swiftly walk away, leaving reporters behind with absolutely no reciprocation. Bush and McCain, both have a way of not speaking to the public straight up and direct which I find to be odd.
Political rhetoric from the Bush administration; can you understand it?
