Presidential Debate With Restrictions?

The first presidential debate between Barack Obama and John McCain, airs Friday 8pm on CNN network. The debate takes place in Oxford, Mississippi.

Both campaigns agreed to Obama's responses being shortened and less detailed, however, the vice presidential debate will not have as many questions as the presidential debate. The McCain campaign requested for Governor Palin to not have to adhere to any of Senator Biden's questions, but instead she's required to answer the interviewer's questions.

Sarah Palin having to answer questions without rebuttal means that her whole performance could be completely rehearsed and we wouldn't know it. Why would the McCain camp want to restrict the native Alaskan from speaking her mind, is she an ornamental figure for show only?

Who is the real Sarah Palin?

Nobody seems to know. She comes out of nowhere vying for the vice presidency and possibly the presidency, but all she's done so far is recite her same speech from the Republican National Convention. Thus far, Palin (seen-r) has only had 2 television interviews and the McCain camp appears to want to further silence her, but why? Her opponent Senator Biden, has already had over 86 interviews and counting.

The governor shying away from cameras make it seem as if she isn't capable of handling her own affairs. Will she have a voice in the McCain administration?
