John McCain Announces His VP Pick

Senator McCain announced his new running mate; Alaska Governor Sarah Palin (seen above-l), former beauty queen and Vogue model. John McCain seems to have a thing for beauty queens, as his first wife Carol was also a beauty queen and model.

A brief history on Governor Palin; she's been governor of Alaska for 1 year and a half, the Alaska population count is 9 thousand residents, she has a son named Track who's entering the military soon, Palin has her online business license for a full year, she takes part in the PTA at her kids' schools, and is a proud parent of 5.

Do you think John McCain picked Sarah Palin because she was a woman?

Hillary Clinton bowing out of the race left her base behind, which becomes up for grabs between the 2 battling candidates. And since word got out about McCain's misogynistic reputation, which was firmly tied to his vote to overturn Roe v. Wade, he's been trying to woo women voters back to his campaign and vetting Sarah Palin, just might help him fight against those attacks.

But what's even more alarming is that Sarah Palin, also believes in overturning Roe v. Wade! The Alaska governor is pro-life and doesn't agree with abortion, so much so, that she stated if her own daughter was raped she would convince her to have the baby!

John McCain grew up in a time when women had no rights, and their only jobs were cooking, cleaning, and having babies. Maybe this explains why McCain believes this is the way life should be?

The Arizona senator purposely vetted a like-minded individual, as he'd never challenge himself by picking a person with differing views.

Furthermore, it's scary to know that if McCain couldn't fulfill his duties as president, the free world would be left in the hands of Sarah Palin! If John McCain feels he made the right choice picking Palin, then we should be even more afraid of the decisions he would make as president. Vetting a person with no experience means McCain would rely solely on his own experience, which if we recall, he couldn't even remember who was fighting against who in the Iraq war!

On a side note: have you noticed that Democrats seem to go first in everything? Whether it be a debate, a meeting, or a convention, the Democrats are always first. Is it done this way so that Republicans can take notes, and brush up on their talking points?

The first day of the RNC (Republican National Convention) begins today, on a holiday, when most people probably won't be watching television which is also coincidental? Republicans have stated that they'll cut their convention short due to the coming of Hurricane Gustav, but the hurricane is hitting somewhere in New Orleans, no where near the RNC, so not sure why they'd be cutting their convention early. Is there not enough speech material to last an entire week? I'm sure after viewing the Democratic National Convention, they know they have their work cut out for them.

If watching you're watching the RNC make sure to listen closely and read between the lines, it probably won't be as compelling as the DNC, but pay attention anyway -- you never know what you might see and/or hear.

I wonder if McCain's campaign will bring in over 80,000 people like Senator Obama's did?

Let the games begin!

  1. Love the article boo...I was thinking the same thing about McCain picking a woman as his VP pick. It's a shame he thinks "We the people" are so damn ignorant that we wouldn't see that he picked a woman to do his job, not to mention the fact that he thinks women are inferior to men...Ugh!! it frustrates me all over! Keep up the good work boop!!! Love ya!!!
