Alaska Rallies Against Governor Palin

The Anchorage Daily News reported on the largest protest rally in the history of Alaska!

The rally drew in an estimated 1,500 people, mostly women, who showed up exclaiming that Sarah Palin (seen above) does not speak for them.

The Alaska Governor has been regarded as abusing her power of authority; in one instance Palin hired and fired a Wasilla town administrator because he rebelled against her demands of how he conducted his job; the town librarian's job was in jeopardy also because she refused to hold a "Walpurgisnacht" (book burning) that Palin demanded. Walpurgisnacht - is German for the most celebrated feast of the witchcraft.

While the Palin backlash ensues the McCain camp tries hard to sway reporters away from her, but because so much new information keeps erupting about this mysterious woman -- she absolutely must speak with reporters to defend her reputation.

Especially since the Governor has also been labeled a racist due to her comments about Senator Obama, as she called him "sambo" during a lunch with colleagues.

Sambo - A negro; sometimes, the offspring of a black person and a mulatto; - formerly used colloquially or with humorous intent, but now considered offensive or racist by African-Americans.
