Breaking News: McCain Camp Suspends Campaign

John McCain announced the suspension of his campaign stating that, "If there is no decision made by Friday on the economic crisis I won't be debating."

Senator Obama called John McCain regarding his declaration and 6 hours later his call was returned. Senator Obama asked the Arizona senator to join him in delivering a bi-partisan resolution regarding the bailout.

Barack Obama never wanted to cancel the upcoming debate and in fact, he agreed it should commence as a way of making the American people aware of the country's detrimental issues. However, McCain chose to tell the American people that, "We are all in grave danger unless this bailout bill passes."

Is this a fear mongering moment? Why such the rush to pass the bill?

Senator McCain already admitted he hadn't read the bailout bill in its entirety -- which is 13 thousand pages; I'd say that time is very much needed. Furthermore, with John McCain's campaign manager currently under scrutiny due to money fraud dealings with bailed out corporations Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, you'd think he'd want to use the debate as a distraction.

Moreover, Americans are less likely to believe republicans when they cry wolf because the last time they did, we ended up in a war that shouldn't have happened; so why believe them now? They make it seem as if wall street runs the entire country, and if it isn't saved we're all going to die.

President Bush seen-l and McCain seen-r.

Is McCain using the bailout as a reason to get out of debating Obama?

No need in debating if he doesn't have a clue of how he'll fix the economic crisis, right? Forget his 20 years in the senate, it doesn't mean as much if he doesn't have the good character, integrity, and leadership to back it up. And voting with George Bush more than 90 percent of the time doesn't exactly scream leadership.

Is it also coincidence that McCain asked for the debate to be pushed back to Oct. 2nd, which is the same day as the vice presidential debate?

Are John McCain and Sarah Palin simply not ready for the showdown? News flash for the McCain/Palin camp; no amount of practice in the world will prepare you for a debate of this magnitude, and rehearsing a million times won't cut it either if you aren't sincere.
