Elisabeth Hasselbeck for Republican Spokeswoman?

Elisabeth Hasselbeck (seen-r) co-host from the day time talk show 'The View', made controversial headlines due to her ignorant political rhetoric.

Hasselbeck made an appearance at the RNC, throwing her celebrity power behind the newly vetted Republican VP candidate Sarah Palin.
Elisabeth seemed so anxious to get a rise out of the crowd, that when she got to her punchline she stumbled over her words while delivering her weak, dry cynicism, and sarcastic humor. She couldn't even follow through with her own joke!

Did Hasselbeck really believe the joke she was telling, did she feel guilty saying it, or did she do it simply to impress her Republican crowd?

Her anxiousness appeared when she began talking about Michelle Obama, which came across sounding ignorant and unclear.

In her speech Hasselbeck compared both Cindy McCain and Michelle Obama, based on their interviews after visiting the day time talk show, The View. Hasselbeck stated, "Cindy McCain came in looking fresh faced and pleasant, unlike another...candidates wife - I won't say any names, Cindy didn't come with a list of topics we couldn't talk about, which shows she has nothing to hide."

So what point was Hasselbeck trying to make? When Dena Lohan came on The View for her interview, did she not tell the staff she wouldn't discuss her daughter, Lindsay Lohan? I'm sure many people come to the show expressing what they will and will not discuss. That wasn't good information Elisabeth, it was actually very petty.

Is Mrs. Hasselbeck interested in running for political office?

When Republican Senator John McCain visited The View, Elisabeth asked him to put her name on the Republican ticket as vice president. It would seem that Hasselbeck has been working over time to make her fellow Republicans proud of her.

Maybe she thinks if she continues to take cheap shots at the Obama's, that she'll earn respect from the GOP? And if she does earn respect for her bullying tactics, then what does that say about the Republican party and its character?

Hasselbeck has a right to her own opinions but her best friend is Sean Hannity from Fox News, who's known for his racist rhetoric, anti-democratic views, and misinformed information; he's either misinformed or a liar. There's that character issue again.

Since Obama began his race to the White House Elisabeth has constantly hated on him, well, as long as he wasn't directly in front of her face that is. Furthermore, when the Obama's visited the talk show Elisabeth was all peaches and cream, and even commented that she'd campaign for Senator Obama after her co-host Sherry volunteered her services.

So what was that all about Elisabeth? Can the American people say P-H-O-N-Y?! Hasselbeck won't rest until she has a seat at the Fox News network.

  1. I had to watch "The View" today just to see her reaction. She tried to be gracious but I know she was pissed at the outcome.
