President Barack Obama's Inauguration Address 2009
Yes we can and yes we did! Ladies and gentlemen today history was made with the first minority president in the history of America, Barack Hussein Obama!
My spouse and I celebrated in Atlanta, Georgia, in Centennial Olympic Park, joined with hundred's of others who came out to relish in this sweet and joyous victory.

I cried and cried, lord knows I cried (smiles), but of course it was pure tears of joy; American citizens went through the struggle and won the good fight. And today as Georgians made their way to the park, freezing our tushes off -- the cold didn't matter. What mattered was that everyone came together for one common purpose, as we sat aside our differences for the betterment of the country.
As President Obama spoke at his inauguration -- for that moment it seemed like the whole world stood still, like everyone was doing the exact same thing at the exact same time; paying tribute and much earned attention to our new President and First Lady of the Unites States of America.
