Larry King's Exit Interview with the Bush's
TV host Larry King is set to interview President George W. Bush and his wife Laura, just one of many exit interviews to be done as the Bush's take their leave from the White House.
During the interview George Bush had a nonchalant attitude and his wife seemed disconnected from reality, while both equally seemed as if they were ready for the conversation to be over. The president stated that he, "Could care less about his low approval ratings," and said he wanted to be liked when it counted -- during election time.
Why would the president not care to be liked? Wouldn't any major public figure want respect and admiration from the people they serve?
Understandably, not everyone will like the president but 75 percent of the country is a BIG deal. If I were Bush I'd be scared to walk down the street.

Larry King questioned the commander-in-chief about the weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, to which Bush responded that he "Wasn't upset that (he) received poor intelligence," and when he found out there wasn't any WMD's he decided to investigate why.
Why would Bush investigate if there wasn't any WMD?
Once it was discovered that no weapons existed, Bush should have pulled out and left the Iraqi people alone and not move in to kill thousands of innocent Iraqi civilians, while putting American troops in harms way; and most certainly not for the purposes of crude oil.

King asked Bush "Are we better off today than we were eight years ago?"
Bush responded that, "We understand the dangers we face more today then eight years ago," and proclaimed that he did what he had to do.
Moreover, President Bush commenting that he "Sleeps well at night, and doesn't know if the recession has affected him yet," should show just how detached he is from regular working class people.

King asked the native Texan, "Will we ever catch Osama Bin Laden?"
Bush replied, "Absolutely because no one can run forever." But when King asked Bush if he's ever been close to finding Osama Bin Laden, Bush answered "I don't know."
The president admitted to never reading President-Elect Barack Obama's books, he confessed that his favorite color is blue and that he loves enchiladas. This part of the interview is where Bush seemed the most normal, while he continued on stating that Vice President Dick Cheney did not run the oval office but instead he did, and that he didn't like being called a racist due to Hurricane Katrina.
At the end of the interview George Bush told Larry King he'll go home and write a book while continuing his HIV/AIDS work in Africa (which I feel he should stay away from Africa altogether), and his wife Laura will also write a book and continue her work with the people of Afghanistan.
Former President Bill Clinton was impeached for sexual acts while serving in the White House; George Bush starts a fake war for the purposes of attaining oil, tanks the American economy to the point of a second great depression, but he gets no jail time and a free pass to a new mansion.
It leaves one completely baffled and at a lost for words.
