The House Votes to Cite Karl Rove for Contempt
Karl Rove (seen-r) a former top White House aide of George W. Bush, has been cited for contempt.
Rove dismissed the law by not showing up to court to answer questions regarding the dismissals of 9 federal prosecutors.
Roves' name was brought up in many instances and yet he still refuses to testify, due to legally invalid claims of immunity privilege.
The Houses' vote to cite Rove is just a recommendation, as a final vote must be conducted to arrest him. The House voted 20-14 along party lines with all Republicans of course, voting unanimously for him to not be held in contempt.

Republican Representative Lamar Smith from Texas commented, "Instead of conducting witch hunts we should consider bipartisan legislation to reduce the price of gas, reduce crime and secure borders."
A witch hunt? That should have been conducted on our current president George Bush, maybe we wouldn't be in the mess we're in right now?
