Georgia Police Officer Caught Using the "N" Word

During a routine traffic stop officer Harrison of the Monroe Police department in Georgia, took it upon himself to use a word that has degraded and dehumanized African Americans for centuries.

The police officer had no idea his actions were caught on his very own car dashboard camera! D'oh!

Officer Harrison stated that he pulled over Chris Wilburn, apparently for driving with a license that needed an adult driver's supervision and that he arrested him due to disorderly conduct. The officer found disorderly conduct when Mr. Wilburn expressed himself by saying "Have mercy on y'all kids, have mercy, have mercy. Lord Jesus."

After Harrison handcuffed Mr. Wilburn he called in the arrest saying, "Bagged me a smart ass-n***** awhile ago. Running his mouth."

Who was officer Harrison speaking to that felt it was okay for the officer to use racial slurs?

Apparently, the person on the other end of the phone conversation shared the same views as officer Harrison, which is unnerving to know that racism is still so prevalent within our communities. The very people that should be protecting us are hurting us.

Chief of Police Keith Glass of Monroe Police department, responded to a reporter's question regarding officer Harrison's "disorderly conduct" claim over the victim saying the name "Jesus."

Mr. Glass simply said, "If the officer felt it was a threat against his kids, it may be."

However, the chief did say the officer was wrong for his word usage and will be disciplined accordingly.

A threat against the officer's kids? Since when did saying "Jesus" become a bad thing?

The victim stated that he didn't do anything wrong and feels strongly that officer Harrison should lose his job. Harrison did try apologizing to the victim, but Mr. Wilburn simply replied "I'll see you in court."
