Our Military Veterans are Lab Rats?
John Solomon Washington Times executive director, made a guest appearance on C-span.
Solomon spoke of new studies regarding veterans' reactions post war. One study displayed that most veterans who didn't smoke going into the military, 9x out of 10 they came out as heavy smokers. Suicides among veterans increased dramatically since 2006, and there were many episodes reported on veterans hallucinating.
A program specifically designed for veterans and paid for by taxpayers, gives soldiers 30 dollars a month as stipend to cover school fees and/or other bills. In return for the payment of 30 dollars a soldier must agree to be experimented on.
Have you ever heard of a school bill costing 30 dollars? And how are veterans able to focus in school if they're constantly having side effects from experimental drugs?
Veterans put their lives on the line to defend our countries, and the government thinks they're only worth 30 dollars, all for the purposes of using them like guinea pigs?
Anti-smoking sessions are included in the veteran program and administers Zantax to smokers; a medication that supposedly suppresses the urge to smoke. Veterans began calling into the C-span phone line with most of them reporting that Zantax, made them hallucinate and want to commit suicide. Other side effects from the drug were heavy drinking and violence. Former soldiers expressed that they felt like, "lab rats", "guinea pigs", and disposable hero's."

The wife of a veteran who was deployed in 1995, called in to the show explaining that her husband was experimented on and how after the experiments -- he thought he saw "little men" and tried jumping out of a window. She exclaimed how she spoke with authorities at the veteran program -- but to no avail; in her words "it was like talking to a brick wall."
Another veteran caller commented regarding the same program -- which he attends at a VA Hospital in Vanderbilt. His story explained how medical students would perform his treatments, even though they weren't authorized to write prescriptions for medication; only 1 doctor remained on site at the facility. The veteran shared that he didn't know about a 30 dollar a month payment program, however, he recalled being told that if he didn't comply to taking the experimental drugs, his other medications would be withheld.
Was experimentation always apart of our American military history?
In the 1940's America's first black military airmen the Tuskegee Airmen, were experimented on unbeknownst to them. They were injected with experimental drugs and was even given the venereal disease called, Syphilis.
When the 6 Tuskegee Airmen fell sick and complained about the experimentation being the reason, the men were told by their army affiliates that they had "bad blood" so that experimenting would resume.
As a result, the 6 airmen who purposely weren't made aware of how serious their sickness was, eventually infected their wives who had children with horrible conditions. The Tuskegee experiment was in itself one of the most heinous crimes in the history of the United States government Public Health Service. And In 1997 President Bill Clinton, apologized on behalf of the nation regarding this tragic realization.

Is government the originator of venereal diseases, and if so, are they also the first to expose civilians to such diseases?
Why did it take so long for an apology to be given regarding this case, that took place over 50 years ago?
Allegedly, Pfizer pharmaceutical company has government representatives within the military that perform these said experiments. It would appear that greed and power has taken over our country in exchange for innocent lives.
Are we at war among ourselves? How can we remain the most powerful country in the world if our government leaders act like terrorist against their own people?

When our veterans come home their suffering continues -- by the hands of our American government; as President Bush opposed any funding to veterans for medical and educational benefits. And these facts alone clearly tells you what side government is on, and it isn't yours.

ReplyDeleteThis story is almost unbelievable. Unfortunately we know that its true. Its disgusting to think that our county's heros are being used for experimentation, and only thirty dollars??? Seriously??? Although I agree with you; on a side note; government doesn't care about how our soliders are being killed in the war, why would they care about how they are killed here????
Keep rockin' it LA.
