Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Speaks the Extreme Truth About Climate Change
Mr. Kennedy, who's president of the water keeper alliance project, paid a visit to the Ed Show to give voice to the many concerns regarding climate change and the Keystone XL Pipeline.
His words were both electrifying and informative and so much so, that they needed to be posted for your viewing. In Mr. Kennedy's words,
His words were both electrifying and informative and so much so, that they needed to be posted for your viewing. In Mr. Kennedy's words,
"We are the principal cause (human beings) of global warming. As a result of man-made global warming production, we're already loosing 2 percent of crop around the globe; we're seeing water shortages, food supply shortages, we're seeing the glaciers melt on every continent of the globe. The artic sea ice is disappearing -- sea levels are rising and within three decades, 18 million people will be displaced in Bangladesh and elsewhere around the world; places like Florida with low lying land."
[...] "(Global warming) is the gravest threat of human rights, and to civilization and too national security. Exxon Corporation and more recently the Koch brothers have -- according to the Bruler report, have put in more than 500 million dollars over the past decade and a half to deceive the public about the impacts of global warming. They created a network of "think tanks" in Washington, D.C., so-called "free market" think tanks. But they're not about free markets. They are about insuring corporate profit; taking without interference -- without regulatory interference."
"It's about socialism for the rich and capitalism, a very merciless savage capitalism for the poor. They have 500 million dollars to buy politicians and to deceive the public; 3 times the amount of oil on the books that will destroy civilization."

Can the extreme truth about climate change, get any more extreme than this?
