Before You Relocate...
Have you ever relocated to a different state before? When making the decision to relocate, were there main factors being considered regarding the move? New job? New life? Explorer?
You're so excited for the change that you never consider the ramifications that come with your new place of residence.
Before moving are you checking your new state's laws? You know, rules put in place to prohibit you from living your life freely?
Personally, I've never researched these things either. But if you consider what's taking form in our country right now with state Republicans closing abortion clinics (80% of clinics in the state of Texas alone) and restricting women's reproductive rights, cutting twenty billion from SNAPS (a program designed to help the hungry; majority children), and North Carolina residents targeted with retaliation by their own government for protesting their rights on Moral Mondays while continuing to give out million dollar bonuses to corporate CEO's, it can leave you wondering if your new state bares the same characteristics?
And if so, would you change course? Could you afford to change course?
For this very reason I added all 50 states below, with links to your states' laws and agenda's. I made sure to comb through the sites to retrieve the important pages for you; sometimes you have to hunt a little. Bookmark your state's page or come back and visit us for updates, we'd love to see you!
Star symbols next to any state signifies "hot button" issues to look out for, and if you find "hot button" issues in any states that aren't flagged let us know.
