The Real Mitt Romney Finally Stood Up!

Christmas officially began early for democrats as David Corn, writer and editor of the online magazine 'Mother Jones', emerged with a secret recording that shows Republican Presidential nominee Mitt Romney speaking candidly about his feelings towards half the nation.

Ladies and gentlemen, the "real" Mitt Romney finally stood up!

In the video seen here, Mitt Romney spoke at a private fundraiser hosted by friend Mark Leder (co-founder of Florida Equity Firm) and among wealthy donors who paid $50 thousand dollars per plate to attend.

A camera sitting on a decorative table where the servers often passed by, caught Mitt Romney from his left side answering an attendees question.

Attendees question: "For the past three years, all every body's been told is "don't worry, we'll take care of you." How are you going to do it in two months before the elections to convince everybody, you've got to take care of yourself?"

Mitt Romney's answer: "There are 47% of the people who will vote for the president no matter what. There are 47% who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe that government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you name it. That that's an entitlement, and the government should give it to them. And they will vote for this president no matter what. And I mean the president starts off with 48, 49, 4 -- he starts off with a huge number.

These are people that pay no income tax. So our message of low taxes doesn't connect. So he'll be out there talking about tax cuts for the rich. I mean that's what they sell every four years. And so my job is not to worry about those people. I'll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives. What I have to do is convince the 5% to 10% in the center that are independents, that are thoughtful, that look at voting one way or another depending upon in some cases emotion, whether they like the guy or not," he said in remarks convincing donors to write checks for his campaign.

After hearing Mitt Romney's views on half the country, I wasn't as much shocked as I was disgusted.

How dare he write off half the country as if it were non-existent? How dare he state that 47 percent of the country is dependent on government as if he himself is not? How dare he state that 47 percent of Americans don't pay their taxes, as he has yet to release his tax returns proving that he does pay taxes?!

How dare he make 47 percent of the country feel as if they're a burden to society without even knowing their stories, which in most cases, these people are hardworking people not making enough of a living wage to care for their families.

How can one expect a person to be free and independent from government, when so many restrictions have been put in place too force people to depend on government?

If a single mother has a low paying job she's going to fall short somewhere whether it be food, health care, bills, clothes or housing.

If a person loses their job unexpectedly, shouldn't that person receive unemployment benefits that they pay into until they can get on their feet?

If a person is retired and lives on a fixed income, shouldn't that person be able to afford decent health care without going broke?

Since the previous republican administration caused America's staggering deficit, should the American people be the only ones to get the country back on track or shouldn't the government lend a moral helping hand?

The fact that Mitt Romney brands half the country as dependent on government, made me want to remind him of just how dependent on government he himself has become.

Mitt Romney received $60 million dollars in federal funds, for his steel mill company located in Indiana. He received $1.5 billion dollars in federal funds for the Olympics, and he received millions in federal funds for his deteriorating company Bain Capital, which left hundreds of employees jobless and in disarray.

Mitt Romney believes that average Americans shouldn't receive help from the government, and only those that are wealthy should be able to reap the benefits such as himself.

Romney doesn't believe Americans should have access to the basic necessities of life such as health care, food, and housing and he released a statement standing by his words in that private meeting, which showed the American people the true character of this man.

He isn't interested in being president of all Americans, only the wealthy ones he can make investment deals with using taxpayer dollars to fund it.

As FLOTUS Michelle Obama stated in her DNC speech, "being the President of the United States doesn't hide who you are, it reveals who you are."

And in my opinion Mitt Romney comes across as elitist, arrogant, aristocratic, plutocratic, snobbish and above all ENTITLED

He's been rich all his life and knows no other way to be and I understand that it isn't his fault that he was born into wealth, but it is his fault for remaining trapped within his own wealth bubble which prohibits him from relating to average Americans.

The governor needs to see the overall picture of the country's issues not remain solely concerned with the issues of the 2 percent, because if it weren't for the 98 percent -- American companies couldn't function.

Working Americans are their life lines and without us they would falter, which is why they're fighting so hard to not level out the money plain field because it would mean fierce competition.
