Month of the GOP Downfall

Reportedly, the new head of the RNC (Republican National Committee) Michael Steele, was busted for stealing taxpayer dollars and giving it to his sister Monica Turner who was married to professional boxer, Mike Tyson.
Steele's sister had a company called Brown Sugar Unlimited and during his 2007 senate campaign, he arranged for over 37 thousand dollars to be given to Ms. Turner as a means of helping her fund her business. The campaign finance records show that the money was used for catering and web services; only when checked into properly was it discovered that those services weren't actually rendered -- so where did the money go?
Ms. Turner (seen below-l; ex-hubby Mike Tyson seen-r) filed paperwork to dissolve her company Brown Sugar Unlimited -- eleven months before 
the actual payment was received. If Ms. Turner closed down her company before she received the 37 thousand from her brother, then what was the money really for? Was the company simply a cover up to embezzle some quick cash?
Was the brother/sister duo aware of a thing called "paper trail", so a fake company had to be created as a means of throwing off the money laundering scandal?
In other GOP scandal news, Republican Senator David Vitter of Louisiana, was caught
in a sex scandal. Vitter (seen-r with wife Wendy) stood before America yesterday at a press conference and confessed that he had cheated on his wife with a prostitute.

This news isn't the first time that White House officials have been linked to escorts. It brings back memories of the infamous D.C. Madam, whose real name was Deborah Jeane Palfrey and whose body was found hung in the storage shed of her mother's garage, as she was set to release all names of her brothel house clientele list in a trial -- and before she could take the stand she was found dead.
Although Ms. Palfrey's death was labeled a suicide, it did make others wonder if she was murdered as a result of her name dropping of high ranking White House officials?
Based on phone records her list included Republican Senator David Vitter -- a client of the D.C. Madam in 2007, also former Senior State Department official Randall Tobias and high ranking military strategist, Harlan Ullman. Prior to her death Palfrey implied, that she had information on several other prominent beltway figures as well.
Republican E. Ozwald Balfour (seen below- r) whose been elected to the Republican State
Central Committee in the state of Utah, has been accused of sexually assaulting two women as he awaits his trial date. He was arrested and charged with 4 felony counts of forcible sex abuse -- according to court documents.
How does Mr. Balfour remain a prominent figure within the Republican party after committing such a heinous act, especially since the Republican party prides themselves on their strong family morals and values? Mr. Balfour, is also Chairman of the Utah Republican Black Assembly.

Last on my list, is former head of the Michigan Federation of Young Republicans Michael Flory (seen-r), who admitted that he sexually abused a college student during a 
national convention. Thirty-two year old Flory, an attorney from Jackson, Michigan, and a licensed insurance broker -- pleaded guilty to sexual battery.
Reportedly, Flory overpowered a young female in a downtown hotel room and now he faces either probation or 5 years in prison with a one hundred thousand dollar fine.
However, this isn't Flory's first time being convicted of sexual assault as he's had several incidents of sexual misconduct with young females.
One victim of Flory refused to release her name but stated that Flory and his followers within the republican organization, have been smearing her reputation in retaliation to her accusing Flory of rape. Assistant County Prosecutor Carol Skutnik, said she found the victim's story to be true.

What is it with republicans and their bullying tactics and/or cruel treatment towards females? They sound like a bunch of misogynists but it makes sense; republicans have always been against women's rights and women's equal pay leaving me to wonder if they created the term, "barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen?"
We should all feel sorry for the wives of these men, as they are the real victims to have husbands that not only sleep around -- but in some cases abuse their mistresses.
How are the wives treated by their husbands I wonder? Are they truly happy?
An interview with politician's wives or ex-wives would be fascinating, and would give a rare look into political leaders' lives from behind the scenes; The Politician's Wives of D.C.?
We should all feel sorry for the wives of these men, as they are the real victims to have husbands that not only sleep around -- but in some cases abuse their mistresses.
