"Intolerable Racism" Led Charlie Crist Away from the Republican Party
Former Florida Governor Charlie Crist, who's running for the governor's office again this year stated that the reason he chose to leave the Republican party to become a Democrat, was due to the "intolerable racism" within the GOP.
The GOP is now seen as "anti-women, anti-minority, anti-gay,
anti-education, anti-environment," commented Crist as he rested his case to Fusion's Jorge Ramos, that the Republican Party's leadership had "went off a cliff."
The current Governor of Florida Scott Walker, is vying to keep his spot far away from the man that jumped ship while turning his back on republican ideology. But given the reputation of the current occupant, it would seem that Crists' chances of being elected governor of Florida again -- may not be that far out of reach.
Folks in Florida wanting to vote need to be registered by July 28, 2014, in order to vote on August 26, 2014, in the primary election. The final election is held November 4, 2014.
Rock the vote!
