Congressman Ryan References Racist Author As Credible

"The left is making a big mistake. What they're offering people is a full stomach and an empty soul." ~Republican Congressman Paul Ryan

It's really sad that Paul Ryan spews his negative assumptions about the poor to the public as if he's an expert on their behavior and culture, and just because he gives his point of view that doesn't mean that there isn't another side.

It's understandable why Democrats and Republicans duke it out over pieces of legislation, as both parties are adamant about fighting for the rights and privileges of their constituents. Basically, there's supposed to be two sides in this great nation in which each side believes it is imperative to preserve their own.

And who would be against a government official that works hard for his or her base?

However, constituents from both sides of the aisle have been up in a roar because it has become painfully clear that one side is for the American people, while the other side is for self. Period. That's it in a nutshell.

Furthermore, it usually pisses people off when the party that's against them, tries to pretend like they're for them. It's patronizing in a sense to Americans, because you feel like you're being laughed at in your face as they "get-off" from watching you suffer.

The party for "self" plays to the "coded language" of stereotypes often told about minorities, and then is usually followed up with one of their "expert" authors to further solidify their talking points, as Congressman Ryan did when he referenced author Charles Murray (a known racist) while speaking about "inner city men" whose culture he called, "lazy" and "non-working."

And of course the author referenced by Ryan, was an instant plug-in for his base wherein he hopes that they purchase the book as new reading material as to indoctrinate them -- so that they may indoctrinate others.

Although Congressman Ryan stated that he was "inarticulate"in his delivery of his previous comments, never once did he apologize for saying it; which simply means that he meant every word he spoke.

It's sad indeed that the majority of the country is fighting against a minority whose views are so old, that you'd need to pop in a history video from the 18th century in order to understand their strategic calculated tactics.

Moreover, the people of this country are very smart, so smart in fact, that we progressively advocate and protest how our government should be more 21st century driven with regards to jobs, education, health care, social justice, economic efficiency, Civil Rights, Green energy, immigration reform, and so on and so forth. Americans want to keep up but it's hard to do that, when a certain party insists on holding us back.

PRESERVE THE RACE! PRESERVE THE POWER! PRESERVE THE MONEY!

Yea, yea, yea, we all get that, but what we don't get is why random vicious and forceful acts must ensue in order to attain it? For example: Government shutdowns, not extending unemployment benefits, cutting SNAP benefits, closing reproductive care facilities, passing new "rape" insurance laws, shutting down public schools, fighting against raising the minimum wage, writing discriminatory legislation against the LGBT community, war, and the list goes on -- literally.

Full stomachs and empty souls, huh? No Congressman Ryan, you only speak of yourself and your GOP friends regarding the latter because remember -- poor people don't have full stomachs that's why they're called "poor", right?
