Poor People Should Pay Higher Taxes?
Debt talks in The White House have taken a brief hiatus this past weekend, but resumed again this Monday morning.
President Obama proposed spending cuts and a new tax revenue that would reduce the debt, by four trillion dollars over a span of ten years. However, House Republicans are in unison with one another that four trillion dollars seems a tad bit high. But just last Saturday House Speaker John Boehner informed President Obama, that an agreement of two trillion dollars was more feasible.

Four trillion dollars or two trillion dollars, either way it's still a lot of money. At least both parties agree the sum must be in the trillions which is definitely a starting point for negotiations.
But seriously, if we're having trillion dollar talk why does it matter if President Obama is proposing a bill for four trillion dollars? He's obviously doing it so he doesn't have to cut back on programs that really help Americans like Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security.
Without that help millions of people would be left to the streets and dying from hunger, all because Congress wants to play dangle and dip with the President. It's understandable that passing legislation isn't always the easiest process, but this is ridiculous. All this stalling is taking place because republicans wish to avoid paying taxes, so they'd rather let people die than help them? What kind of barbaric thinking is this?
Everyone should know that you have to spend money in order to make money. There's no way around that.

By freezing assets and taking money away from senior citizens and the less fortunate, it does nothing to help our economy and if anything, it makes it a lot worse. The republicans that are fighting against helping the helpless, should go to a down-trodden neighborhood to see for themselves how people are struggling, because living in a wealthy bubble I'm sure doesn't permit room for frequent visits to the poor sides of town.
So to the "party of no", if you have an ounce of red warm blood pulsating through your veins, compromise with President Obama on this SUPER important agenda.
