A PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION CIRCUS SIDE-SHOW

THIS ARTICLE WAS ORIGINALLY WRITTEN: JULY 11, 2011

A circus side-show is exactly what the 2012 presidential election is going to be as President Obama, must go head-to-head with a Republican presidential hopeful to win back The White House.

With a recent 60% approval rating one week after killing 9-11 terrorist Osama Bin Laden, President Obama is in the best shape to be re-elected.

When the former Illinois senator took office in 2009, we were headed for a second great depression thanks to his predecessor George W. Bush, and almost three years into his presidency he passed the largest overhaul of health care in decades, and signed into law the 'Lily Ledbetter Act'  which encourages employers to pay their female employees, the same as men for the same jobs.

'Don't ask, Don't tell' was overturned due to its violation of human rights towards gay and lesbian military soldiers, and a 'Credit CARD Act' was pushed forward as a means of protecting the American people from raping escalating interest rates, while leaving teenagers less vulnerable when acquiring credit cards thus, the law requires a parent/guardian to co-sign.

Jobs were injected for economic stimulation and extended unemployment benefits helped those who needed it most. President Obama transitioned the Dow from a red negative to green positive, and then passed 'The Mortgage Reform and Anti-Predatory Lending Act', which helps protect homeowners from predatory lenders.

The President accomplished much of what he said he'd do in a short amount of time and if nothing else, we can comfortably take the man for his word. If he says he's going to do something, he's going to do it.

Obama's words are definitely his bond, and in his second term I'm sure he'll finish implementing his plans as he has proven himself to be efficient and able to deal with America's issues head on.

As a result, the economy is stabilizing, more infrastructure is being built, more solar panels are being used, more fuel efficient cars are being made, and due to increasing Pell grants more children have opportunities to go to college. More focus is being paid to a cleaner/greener environment, and thanks to Obama cutting taxes for small business owners, more entrepreneurs then ever are being born.

So what Republican dares to go against the President of the free world? What better objections do they have? What can they point out that Obama is doing wrong? What can they say to make the American people switch from the right path to the wrong path?

Who can take President Obama on?

1. Sarah Palin - Naaaaaaa!
2. Newt Gingrich - LMAO!
3. Donald Trump - What will he do? Address the president as "The Black"?
4. John Boehner - He'll probably cry after every debate he loses?

So who does that leave then?

Exactly! A carnival side-show! Oh boy I can't wait, this upcoming presidential election is going to be very interesting to watch, so get ready for the time of your lives!
