Republicans and White Nationalist Hate Leaders at CPAC 2012

This February in Washington, D.C., the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) of 2012 took place, as controversy over this years invited guests sparked a flame.

Among the select speakers were Peter Brimelow (seen-r), whose organization is identified as a White Nationalist Hate Group according to the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Peter Brimelow is a anti-immigrant writer with extremely racist views, as he once stated that, "America is a white nation for White people."

Some of Brimelows' articles state that, "Jews are weakening Americas Historic white majority" and "Immigrants are displacing native born Americans."

Brimelow based his speech on a topic called, "The Failure of Multi-culturalism: How the pursuit of diversity is weakening the American Identity."

This prominent speaker at CPAC along with other white supremacists are obvious influences on the Republican party, which is probably why so many Republican presidential candidates have had slip ups using racist rhetoric in their speeches.

When Ron Paul ran for the Libertarian Party, a Neo-Nazi leader by the name of Don Black (ironic that his last name is what he hates the most) endorsed him which gave Paul his Neo-Nazi base. And during one of Ron Paul's speeches he told his audience to remember what the Conservative movement was all about, as a Paul follower yelled out, "White Power!"

The statement "White Power" has been widely used amongst Ku Klux Klan members, so to hear it yelled out in this day and age is indicative of the Civil Rights Era.

Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, and Rick Santorum, all attended this years CPAC, and have yet to denounce the racist leaders nor their views. Does this not shock or upset anyone? Do we really want a racist president who only looks out for racist and/or wealthy people in our country? Or better yet, do we want a president who doesn't think for himself but instead allows others to think for him?
